Anthropocene

Long years of work in the Nordic region have awakened me to the reality of global warming: glaciers are melting, snow is no longer falling, permafrost is warming and ocean salinity is changing. The question of landscape can no longer be considered in isolation from the problem of the ecological footprint of the Anthropocene. Aesthetic understanding of the world must be combined with another mode of description, that of science. These projects are the fruit of multidisciplinary research and collaboration. They explore the fictional potential of scientific hypotheses and constitute an archaeology of the present.
